Join our AI & Your Healthcare Webinar with Burt Rosen

Join us on June 5 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m. CT for an enlightening talk on AI & Your Healthcare with Burt Rosen, patient advocate and incredible human being.

As featured in Men’s Health magazine, Burt is battling two types of cancer, advanced PNET (Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor) and Kidney Cancer (Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma). sharing his journey and using AI to help him manage his understanding of his own health and care.

And, he’s created a NET Sherpa GPT to help others with NET get “warm, friendly, jargon-free advice and support.” That’s Burt in a nutshell. But there’s so much more…

I’m so proud of my friend Burt!

I first met Burt a decade or so ago as a wonderful fellow marketer… then he quickly became my friend. Then he became a fellow cancer patient (I am a “survivor,” and he is too, IMO, although still in the midst of his battle). He’s a fellow AI advocate and an incredible patient advocate especially around the use of AI in managing your health and care.

We’re looking forward to sharing his journey, and exploring yours:

“Adventures with Cancer”

That’s what he calls it, and if that doesn’t say he’s different, I don’t know what more would. Burt is a natural storyteller. He blogs about his Adventures with Cancer under that moniker and he constantly inspires me to live a bigger, better life as I read his posts.

He is admittedly incredibly transparent, but when you have cancer, getting access to someone or something that will:

  • Help you cut through the jargon and understand what’s going on in your body

  • Know what questions to ask of your (too often) disconnected healthcare team

  • Ease the burden of your personal support system to manage your emotions and your care while simultaneously trying to figure out what’s happening and what to expect…

  • Share their journey with others like you - to nurture a sense of community, even of hope…

Sharing is Caring

Burt has done all of that and more. He’s launched a new GPT to help others with NETS explore their condition. And shared how AI immediately makes his MyChart tests and reports more understandable - he uses it even from his hospital room to prep for doctor visits.

“For fun, I was wondering how it would do interpreting my scans in case my scan appointments and doctor visits are far apart. I cut and pasted my last CT Scan report and uploaded it and asked for an English explanation. It was dead on and easy to understand.

Burt admits he’s incredibly transparent, and not everyone would share quite so much

If you’re wondering how you might use AI in your journey to better health - whether facing a new challenge, or simply wanting to improve your current state - we encourage you to join us and take some great advice from a truly wonderful human, partnering with AI to take more responsibility and control over his own body in the midst of uncertainty. From my friend. Burt Rosen.

As I’ve said before, whether you're starting your career, mid-way through, or (like me, at the penultimate time) adaptability is your best friend. The skills that'll keep you competitive include curiosity, critical and analytical thinking, agility, resilience, AI and data knowledge, cybersecurity, and creative thinking.

And here's the drum I’ll never stop beating: The "human" skills Burt exemplifies like empathy, creativity and resilience are becoming more important, not less.

This isn't just about surviving the changes - it's about thriving in them. The future of your health - like medicine - might look different, but it's full of opportunities if you're ready to consider them.

Stay curious, keep learning, and don't be afraid to be your own best advocate.

Now's the time to start thinking about where you fit in our rapidly changing future. And just how you will own your part of that story.

If you need support in writing your story, we are here to help. We train leaders and teams to handle AI on their terms, safely responsively and with an awareness of the risks and rewards of using AI to facilitate growth.
